Wakefields Celebrates Top Achievers at The Legacy Yard

The Wakefields family came together at The Legacy Yard, Umhlanga Arch, to celebrate our top achievers for the year so far. It was an afternoon of recognition, connection, and well-earned celebration.

More than 80 property practitioners and their manager were honoured for their outstanding performance, many reaching higher commission splits, some as high as 80%. Six agents were awarded the title of Premier Property Practitioner; a significant achievement that reflects consistency, professionalism, and dedication to clients.

Agents travelled from every corner of KwaZulu-Natal, from Shelly Beach to Salt Rock, Nottingham Road to the Upper Highway, and across Durban and surrounds. Seeing the whole team together made the day especially meaningful. Wakefields is not a franchise. We operate as one company, one team, connected by shared values and a collective commitment to excellence.

We were joined by our trusted partners, ooba Home Loans and Buyers Trust, whose support continues to strengthen our service. Sixty percent of Wakefields buyers secure their home loans through ooba, helping them access the best possible interest rates. Two out of every three deposits are now managed through Buyers Trust, providing a secure, transparent process for our clients.

The event reminded us that behind every sale and every award is a person who shows up, delivers, and supports the team around them. Taking the time to celebrate that effort matters. It keeps our culture strong and our focus clear because success is always better when shared.
