This picturesque, fertile farm which has served the family since the early
1900'S, is up for sale to the farmer who wishes to run a diverse country
business.


The mostly Hutton soils are fed by an annual rainfall averaging 1200 millimetres
per annum, supporting the flowing:

* 140 hectares of plantations under Pine (60 hectares) and Gum (80
hectare) in rotation

* 80 hectares of dryland 3- way mix - Smuts finger, Eragrostis & Fescue

* 17 hectares of Eragrostis hay

* 70 hectares of Kikuyu

* 180 hectares of veld with an approximately 40 % red grass component

The water is gravity fed from a perennial spring to the farmyard, houses, wedding venue and self-catering cottages. 20 000 litres for houses and 30 000 litres for the rest of the farmyard. The livestock are supplied with water from stock dams and a further three dams with capacities of 45 000, 15 000 and 14 000 cubic metres.

# Included in the sale are 4 tractors and implements, workshop equipment, approximately 262 head of Angus cattle (130 breeding cows, 5 bulls, 2 young cows, 100 weaners and 25 weaners), stock handling facilities, block and firewood equipment and furniture with a noted on inventories.
# The incomes are secured by contracts, except the block making and firewood contracts which will be renegotiated with existing clients.
