Ramsgate, Margate

The quaint village of Ramsgate is situated on the KwaZulu-Natal Lower South Coast. A favourite destination of generations of South Africans it has seen seasonal influxes of domestic tourists since the 1950's. It is located at the mouth of the Ibilanhlolo River, meaning "the marvellous boiler", due to the bubbles caused by strong currents.
